Salado Creek AVA (recognized June 29, 2004) is a wine-growing region in the US state of California . The area extends to the northern part of the administrative area of Stanislaus County , in the northern part of the San Joaquin Valley southwest of the town of Patterson, known for the apricot growing . The Diablo Grande AVA wine-growing region continues further north.

The largest processor of grape material and wine is the KitFox Vineyards winery , which relies on contract processors in nearby Lodi .
