history
Salajna was founded as Konradsgrün around 1290 when the Egerland was being expanded. The owner and name giver can be found in old sources Konrad Paulsdorfer von Tennesberg. 1305 he handed the bailiwick of the Teutonic Knights in Eger (today Cheb ) and 1308 he gave the tithe of ten yards the Waldsassener pen. The Junckher family from Eger was ultimately responsible for the later tithing. Konradsgrün belonged to the city of Eger as a subordinate municipality until 1848. Until 1871 the residents had to work 57 days a year for Eger with a team and a cart.
Already in 1712 began in the woods between Conrad Green, Losau and Palitz with iron ore . Traces of it can still be found in the forests today.
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the district of Eger until 1945 .
