Salksdorf is a district of the Geisenhausen market in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

Salksdorf is about two kilometers north of Geisenhausen on State Road 2054.

history

The place was first mentioned in the year 819. In 1811 the tax district Salksdorf was formed in the Rentamt Teisbach of the district court Vilsbiburg, which covers the places Salksdorf, Albanstetten, Armannsberg, Asbach, Bach, Birken, Feichten, Fimbach, Hagenau, Haunersdorf, Hörlkam, Klause , Kuglberg, Maulberg, Rampoldsdorf, Ringstetten, Stützenbruck, Vils and Vogelsang. The district court municipality Salksdorf emerged unchanged from this in 1818/1821. From 1862 it belonged to the Vilsbiburg district office and from 1939 to the Vilsbiburg district . On May 1, 1978, the municipality of Salksdorf was incorporated into the Geisenhausen market as part of the regional reform .

  • Catholic Church of St. Michael : Hall church, on the south side a tower with a three-story substructure, eight-sided tower and dome, with pilaster strips and plastered structure, baroque layout from 1707; with equipment.
