The Sallee Snowfield is a large snowfield in Queen Elizabeth Land, West Antarctica . In the Pensacola Mountains , it lies between the Dufek Massif and the northern Forrestal Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Lieutenant Commander Ralph William Sallee (* 1927), assistant meteorologist on the command staff of the US Navy Support Units in Antarctica in 1967 and 1968.
