Salmin Čehajić (born May 7, 1984 in Bosanska Gradiška ) is a former Bosnian - Austrian football player .

Career

Čehajić began his career at the Vienna Sports Club . In 1996 he moved to SK Rapid Vienna . After he had previously played for the amateur team in the Vienna City League , he made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga in August 2001 when he played against VfB Admira Wacker Mödling in the 69th minute for Gaston Taument on the ninth matchday of the 2001/02 season was substituted on.

After that, Čehajić played for a long time on a cooperation basis with various second division clubs; from summer 2002 he played at LASK Linz , after the winter break of the 2002/03 season at the Wiener Sportklub and between 2003 and 2005 at SC Untersiebenbrunn . In the 2003/04 season he also played seven Bundesliga games with the Rapid professionals.

For the 2005/06 season he left the Viennese firm and joined the second division club SC Schwanenstadt . After 21 goalless second division games, he returned in the summer of 2006 to the now third-class Viennese sports club. After 73 games in the Regionalliga Ost , in which he was able to score ten goals, he moved to league rivals SV Horn for the 2009/10 season . In 2012 he rose to the second division with the Hornern .

In January 2013 he moved to the national division ATSV Ober-Grafendorf . With the Ober-Grafendorf he was promoted to the regional league. In January 2014 he moved to the sixth class USV Atzenbrugg-Heiligeneich . For the 2014/15 season he moved to the seventh-class FC BiH Vienna . He ended his career after the 2015/16 season.
