Salomé Mugabe (born August 2, 1989 in Maputo ) is a Mozambican shot putter and discus thrower .

Athletic career

Salomé Mugabe gained her first international experience at the 2011 African Games in Maputo , where she competed in the heptathlon but was unable to finish her competition. Four years later she took part again in the Africa Games in Brazzaville and finished fourth in the shot put with 13.74 m. The following year she reached seventh place at the African Championships in Durban with 14.31 m and was tenth in the discus throw with 42.43 m. In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and finished eleventh there with 14.98 m and 45.72 m respectively. In August she was fourth in the shot put at the African Championships in Asaba with 15.21 m.
