Salutaris Melchior Libena
Salutaris Melchior Libena (born November 23, 1963 in Itete , Tanzania ) is a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Ifakara .
Life
Salutaris Melchior Libena received on 29 June 1991 the Bishop of Mahenge , Patrick Iteka , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 28, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Sutunurca and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Dar es Salaam . The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam, Polycarp Cardinal Pengo , donated him and also Eusebius Alfred Nzigilwa the episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Dodoma , Jude Thadaeus Ruwa'ichi OFMCap , and the Bishop of Kayanga , Almachius Vincent Rweyongeza . On January 14, 2012 Benedict XVI appointed him. to the bishop of Ifakara.
