Salutschtschja ( Ukrainian Залуччя ; Russian Залучье Salutschje , Polish Załucze ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnyzkyj with about 00 inhabitants (2001).
Salutschtschja belongs administratively to the regional community of Chemerivtsi founded in 2016 in the southeast of the Chemerivtsi Raion . The village is located in the Podiler Towtry National Park at an altitude of 191 m on the bank of the Smotrych , a 168 km long left tributary of the Dniester , 27 km southeast of the municipality and district center of Chemerivtsi and 80 km southwest of the Khmelnytsky oblast center . The famous Saluchanska Cave ( Залучанська печера ) is located near the village .
history
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1530, was originally called Lutschynkiwzi ( Лучинківці ) and was located southwest of the present-day village on the right bank of the Smotrych . After the Tatars destroyed the village, it was rebuilt at its current location with its current name. In the village was in 1738, the Grade II listed today St. Demetrios-of-Thessaloniki - wooden church built, had the original three domes and a stone bell tower. The brick section on the west side was added in 1872.
