Salvatore Di Dio

Salvatore Di Dio (born March 12, 1972 ) is a German long-distance runner of Italian origin.

In 1992 he was fourth in the Essen Marathon around the Baldeneysee , which he won the following year. In 1994 he crossed the finish line first at the German half marathon championship , but was only junior champion because he was not registered for the main category. In 1995, 1996, 1999 and 2002 he came second in Rund um den Baldeneysee. In 2002 he won the Rhine-Ruhr Marathon , in 2004 he won for the second time in Rund um den Baldeneysee.

Salvatore Di Dio starts for the LKD Düsseldorf.
