Salve TV broadcasts programs on the Russian state broadcaster RT Deutsch every day and has been criticized by politicians from several parties in the Thuringian state parliament . Werner Pidde (SPD) described the programs as “one-sided” and “from a Russian point of view”, Gerold Wucherpfennig (CDU) criticized that a “local station broadcasts state Russian foreign propaganda”, and Madeleine Henfling (Greens) spoke of “uncommented broadcasting without journalistic controversy ". The Thuringia media group has been cooperating with salve.tv since March 2017 .
