Radio Top 40 is a private broadcaster in Thuringia . The Thüringer Landesmedienanstalt (TLM) as the controlling body assigned the corresponding broadcasting license to Antenne Thüringen GmbH & Co. KG. The studio and technology are therefore integrated in the antenna Thuringia premises in Weimar.

Market share and marketing
In contrast to the other private broadcasters in the Free State of Thuringia, the range or market share of the broadcaster is not published directly. The marketing of the advertising time takes place in the form of the so-called Radio-Kombi Thuringia . Radio Top 40 and Antenne Thüringen jointly market their advertising times on this platform. The radio station wagon figures are also the only publicly published indications of the station's market share in the broadcasting area. In the advertising-relevant time from Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Radio Top 40 has around 22,000 listeners, on Saturdays to 15,000 and Sundays to 11,000 listeners.
