Saman Ghoddos ( Persian سامان قدوس, DMG Sāmān Qodūs ; * September 6, 1993 in Malmö ) is an Iranian- Swedish football player who is under contract with the French first division club SC Amiens and plays for the Iranian national team. He can also be used as a striker.
Career
society
As a youth player, Ghoddos, the son of Iranian parents, who grew up in his native Sweden, first played in 2007 for Malmö FF, in the same year he went to IF Limhamn Bunkenflo. In 2016 Ghoddos moved to Östersunds FK, scoring ten league goals in his debut season. He aroused the interest of Hertha BSC and Ajax Amsterdam , among others . He also won the Swedish Cup with his club. In 2017 Ghoddos scored the 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League qualifier against Galatasaray Istanbul .
On August 23, 2018 Saman Ghoddos moved to the French first division club SC Amiens .
National team
In December 2016 Ghoddos decided to play for the Swedish national football team . On January 12, 2017, he scored his first international goal in a 6-0 win over Slovakia .
Ghoddos later moved to the Iranian senior team and made his debut on October 5, 2017 in a 2-0 win in the friendly against Togo. He was part of the Iranian squad at the 2018 World Cup and was substituted on in all three group matches against Morocco , Spain and Portugal . Iran was eliminated in third place in the group stage.

Ghoddos can also be used as a midfielder or as a winger and is praised for his technical ability.
