Sam or Sammy Adams (born August 14, 1987 in Cambridge , Massachusetts ; actually Samuel Adams Wisner ) is an American rapper from Boston .

Career

Sam Adams became famous on the internet in 2009 when he was a student at Trinity College, Hartford . When Asher Roth published his hit I Love College , he posted a response entitled I Hate College on the video platform YouTube , which was then viewed millions of times. The following year he released his first official single, Driving Me Crazy , with which he immediately hit the Billboard Hot 100 . The accompanying EP, Boston's Boy , made the official album charts and the top 10 of the rap charts.

In addition, he published his own mix tapes and worked with other musicians. With Taylor Swift he produced a remix of their US number two hit I Knew You Were Trouble and with Enrique Iglesias he recorded the song Finally Found You , which reached number 24 in the charts. At the end of 2013 his second EP Homecoming was released , which reached the top 50 in the US album charts .
