Sammy Traoré (born February 25, 1976 in Créteil ) is a Malian football player who also has French citizenship .
Career
society
Traoré began his career at US Créteil . With the team he was runner-up in Division 3 in 1999 and played for the club in Ligue 2 until the end of August 2002 . After playing five more games this season for Créteil, OGC Nice brought him to Ligue 1 . The central defender quickly became a regular there. In the summer of 2006 he was in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue with his club , but AS Nancy prevailed 2-1. For the 2006/07 season, Traoré moved to league rivals Paris Saint-Germain .
National team
Traoré has played in the Mali national team since 2002 . For the selection he took part in the Africa Cup of 2004 .
