Two Sides of the Moon is the only solo album by Keith Moon , the drummer for The Who . The album was released by Polydor in April 1975 . It was initially produced by Mal Evans , towards the end by Skip Taylor and John Stronach . It was recorded at The Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles . The original title of the album was Like a Rat Stuffed up a Pipe , but was rejected by the American record company MCA .
