The combined municipality of Schladen was an administrative community of the municipalities of Gielde , Schladen and Werlaburgdorf and the city of Hornburg in the Wolfenbüttel district in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).
The area of the combined municipality of Schladen, in which almost 9,000 inhabitants lived, comprised 73.89 km².
On November 1, 2013, the integrated community was converted into the single community Schladen-Werla .

The combined municipality of Schladen and its districts were located in the northern part of the Harz Mountains, particularly south of the Oder Forest . The Oker was in the area of the Samtgemeinde.
