Upstalsboom municipality

Upstalsboom was from 1965 to 1972 a joint municipality in the area of ​​today's Aurich in East Friesland .

On May 31, 1965, the parishes Extum , Haxtum , Kirchdorf and Rahe were merged to form the Upstalsboom parish . The name of the entire community was based on the Thingstätte Upstalsboom , which was formerly located here and is still remembered today by a monument . The sole mayor of the combined community was Nikolaus Frerichs from 1965 to 1972 , and Ekke Bussmann was the only community director from 1967 to 1972 .

In the course of the regional and administrative reform in 1972, the communities belonging to the integrated community were incorporated into the city of Aurich. The former Upstalsboom is now four parts of the city, which together have a local mayor , whose office was previously held by the following people:
