Samuel Honrubia
Samuel Honrubia (born July 5, 1986 in Béziers ) is a French handball player .
The 1.80 meter tall and 75 kilogram left winger began playing handball at Racing Club Montagnac. Honrubia was then under contract with Montpellier HB until 2012 . He played with Montpellier in the 2002/2003 to 2011/2012 seasons in the EHF Champions League and in 2001/2002 in the European Cup Winners' Cup . In summer 2012 he joined Paris HB . With Paris he won the championship in 2013, 2015 and 2016 and the French Cup in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 he moved to Tremblay-en-France Handball . After Honrubia retired from his career in summer 2019, he signed a contract with Pays d'Aix UC in December 2019 .
Samuel Honrubia is part of the French national team , for example for the European handball championships in 2010 and 2014 , where he was European champion each time. He and his team won the 2011 World Championships in Sweden and in the summer of 2012 the Olympic Games in London . So far Honrubia has completed 87 international matches for France, in which he was able to score 194 goals.
