Samuel Ledel

Samuel Ledel (also Samuel Ledelius , born August 19, 1644 in Sorau , † December 23, 1717 in Grünberg (Silesia) ) was a German physician and district physician in Grünberg.

Life

Samuel Ledel was a son of the theologian Samuel Ledel (1606–1670) and studied medicine with Johann Arnold Friderici and Georg Wolfgang Wedel at the University of Jena . He then worked as a doctor in Sagan in Silesia before becoming a district physician in Grünberg.

On November 1, 1684, Samuel Ledelius with the academic surname Theseus II. Was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 127 ) in the Leopoldina .

The lawyer Sigismund Ledel was his brother.
