Samuel Henry "Sam" Sharman (born November 2, 1879 in Gallatin County , † August 30, 1951 in Los Angeles ) was an American marksman .

Samuel Sharman took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in a trap . In the team competition, he took first place with the US team ahead of Canada and Finland. With a total of 363 points and thus three points ahead, the Americans, whose team also consisted of Frank Hughes , John Noel , Clarence Platt , Fred Etchen and William Silkworth , narrowly secured the gold medal. Sharman was the team's best shooter with 92 points, along with Hughes. In the individual competition, he finished sixth with 96 points.

Sharman was a car salesman.
