Samuele Bersani (born October 1, 1970 in Rimini ) is an Italian Cantautore . He won two critics' awards at the Sanremo Festival and was awarded four Targhe Tenco .

Career

Bersani grew up in a musical family in Cattolica . He was discovered by Lucio Dalla , who took him on tour in 1991. In the same year, without having released an album, he was invited to the Tenco Prize with the song Il mostro . After moving to Bologna , his debut album C'hanno preso tutto was finally released in 1992 ; it also included the successful song Chicco e Spillo . After working with Fiorella Mannoia , Bersani made his breakthrough in 1995 with the album Freak . Singles from it were Freak , Spaccacuore and Cosa vuoi da me . Further collaboration with Lucio Dalla followed until 1997, when the song Coccodrilli introduced the third album Samuele Bersani . It also contained the song Giudizi universali , which was awarded the Premio Lunezia 1998 for the best text.

In 1998, Bersani contributed the song Siamo gatti to the soundtrack composed by David Rhodes for the animated film How Kater Zorbas taught the little seagull to fly (adaptation of the book of the same name by Luis Sepúlveda ). He also worked with Ornella Vanoni and Ryūichi Sakamoto . In 2000, after an artistic break, the musician took part in the Sanremo Festival for the first time and presented the song Replay , which reached fifth place and brought Bersani the critic's award. The album L'oroscopo speciale was released in April of that year and was awarded the Targa Tenco album of the year in October . Bersani was responsible for the music for the Christmas film Chiedimi se sono felice by the comedian trio Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo .

With the Best of Che vita! the Cantautore reported back in 2002. Then he worked with Mina and in 2003 the next studio album Caramella smog followed . In 2004 he was again awarded the Targa Tenco for both the album and the song Cattiva . In the 2006 election campaign , Bersani got involved with the song Lo scrutatore non votante , which flowed into the album L'aldiquà . This also received international attention. The song Occhiali rotti , dedicated to the journalist Enzo Baldoni who was murdered in Iraq in 2004 , was awarded the 2007 Amnesty Italia special prize. The album Manifesto abusivo followed in 2009, preceded by the single Ferragosto, written with Sergio Cammariere .

Bersani returned to Sanremo in 2012 with Un pallone and was once again able to secure the critic's award . Participation in the festival was followed by the second compilation Psyco - 20 anni di canzoni . In 2013 the single En e Xanax was released and the next studio album Nuvola numero nove , which was Bersani's first number one album. For the campaign # ioleggoperché to promote reading he recorded the song Le storie che non conosci with Pacifico and Francesco Guccini in 2015 , which also won the Targa Tenco ( ex aequo with Il senso delle cose by Cristina Donà ). Various event concerts culminated in the live album La fortuna che abbiamo in 2016 .
