San Michele Arcangelo a Pietralata is a Roman Catholic parish church and titled deaconry in the Roman quarter of Pietralata .

history

The parish was established on September 23, 1938 by a decree by Cardinal Vicar Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani . In 1938 the church was built according to plans by Tullio Rossi and consecrated on September 25, 1948 by the Roman auxiliary bishop Luigi Traglia .

With a decree she was from Pope Paul VI. elevated to title diakonia. On June 15, 1982, the borders with Santi Angeli Custodi a Città Giardino and Saint Laurentius Outside the Walls were established.

In 2007, the church and its pastor participated in a television advertisement for the Italian mandate tax , a tax similar to the German church tax.

Furnishing

The outside of the church looks like a hut. On the facade is the coat of arms of Pope Pius XI, and a statue of the Madonna of the Miraculous Medal is on the roof ridge .
