San Miguel de Abi

The parish church of San Miguel de Abi ( Catalan Sant Miquel d'Abí ) in Seira , a municipality in the Spanish province of Huesca in the autonomous region of Aragon , was built in the 12th century . The in the district of Abi located church is a protected monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).

The church, dedicated to the Archangel Michael , has a single nave and closes with a semicircular apse . A small chapel is built on the south side. The Church of ashlar masonry with bricks covered. An open bell tower ( espadaña ) sits on the roof . A simple portal is on the west facade. The small Romanesque church has a gallery on the west side.
