The Church of San Plasch ( Rhaeto-Romanic in the idiom Vallader baselgia San Plasch for "St. Blasius Church") in Tschlin in the Lower Engadin is a Protestant - Reformed church on the northern upper edge of the village at 1,564 m. ü. M.

History and equipment

The structure of the walls of the nave is medieval . The current late Gothic building was erected shortly before the Reformation in 1515. The church tower with a three-storey bell house adjoins the facade in the east, shows the Romanesque style and has a tented roof . The nave and choir are supported by a star vault decorated with tendril paintings . On the walls there are paintings from the founding period that show the persecution and imprisonment of St. Blaise ( Rhaeto-Romanic Plasch ), under whose patronage the church originally stood. The pulpit from the Baroque period , embellished with high-quality carvings, dates back to 1709. In the choir there is a Bible cabinet from the Rococo period around 1760.

San Plasch was restored in 1959/1960 and for the last time in 2008-2011.

The Duonna Lupa fountain is in front of the church .
