The Penna sand pit is a nature reserve (NSG) in the district of Central Saxony in Saxony . The 91.7 hectare area with the NSG no. C 82 is located east of Penna, a district of the city of Rochlitz, and includes parts of the old and new pit of the local sand mining area.

The nature reserve was established by an ordinance of the Chemnitz Regional Council of April 23, 1997.
