The Aschbachtal is a nature reserve (NSG) in the district of Central Saxony in Saxony . The 682 hectare area with the NSG no. C 60 extends north of Großvoigtsberg , on the southern edge of the Zellwald in a south-westerly direction to the confluence of the Aschbach in the Striegis near Pappendorf .

The nature reserve was established by an ordinance of the Chemnitz Regional Council of February 22, 1995.
