Sandra Betschart (born March 30, 1989 ) is a Swiss football player.

Career

Betschart joined FC Zurich in 2005 after playing for SC Cham and FC Malters. After five years in Zurich, she moved to Kristianstads DFF in the Swedish league Damallsvenskan in 2011 . At the end of the season she was transferred back to FC Yverdon in Switzerland, where she played the second half of the 2011/12 National League . Betschart then signed with VfL Sindelfingen , a club newly promoted to the German women's Bundesliga . The midfielder announced her departure from VfL Sindelfingen on March 25, 2013. The Swiss national player signed a one-year contract with Sunnanå SK on March 27, 2013, starting April 1, 2013.

Betschart made her debut in the Swiss national football team in February 2007 against Malta . By January 2013, she has played 49 games and scored two goals since then.
