Jarno Peters (* 25. June 1993 in Ibbenbüren ) is a German football - goalkeeper .
Career
Peters began his career at SC Altenrheine . He then moved to Borussia Dortmund and stations in Bielefeld and Osnabrück followed. For the 2012/13 season he moved to the second team of FC Schalke 04 . There he was second goalkeeper behind Ferdinand Oswald . He only played one game on the last day of the season, which was also due to the fact that goalkeepers Ralf Fährmann and Lars Unnerstall regularly gained match practice in the second team. For the 2013/14 season he returned to Arminia Bielefeld and was the third goalkeeper in the 2nd Bundesliga behind Patrick Platins and Stefan Ortega Moreno . At the end of the season, Arminia Bielefeld was relegated and Peters was promoted to number 2. When Alexander Schwolow tore a muscle bundle in the second half of the season, Peters made his professional debut on matchday 28 against Borussia Dortmund II . Otherwise he was mostly used for Arminia Bielefeld II in the Oberliga Westfalen . In the summer of 2015 , Peters moved to the regional league club SV Rödinghausen and a year later he was presented as a newcomer to league competitor SC Verl . Peters only played there for a year and moved to the upper division Hammer SpVg . He has now been playing for the upper division FC Gütersloh since summer 2019 .
