Sandra Redmann (born November 1, 1965 in Eutin ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1986, Redmann completed an apprenticeship as a bookseller and then worked as a bookseller from 1989 to 1992. From 1993 to 1997 she studied social pedagogy , but did not graduate here.

Redmann has a daughter.

Political party

She joined the SPD in 1989. From 1990 to 1993 she was chairwoman of the Jusos in Bad Schwartau and from 1993 to 2015 she was chairwoman of the local SPD association. From 2003 to 2005 she was deputy SPD state chairman in Schleswig-Holstein .

MPs

From 1990 to 2001 Redmann was a member of the city ​​council of Bad Schwartau.

She has been a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament since 2000 . Redmann was a directly elected member of the Eutin-Süd electoral district in 2000 , but entered the state parliament via the state list in the following elections in 2005, 2009, 2012 and 2017 . Since 2009 she has been a member of the administrative board of Schleswig-Holsteinische Landesforsten and a member of the foundation board of the Schleswig-Holstein Nature Conservation Foundation , which she took over as chairman in 2014.

In the 19th electoral term (since 2017) she is a member of the Environment and Agriculture Committee, Chairwoman of the Working Group Environment, Energy and Rural Areas of the SPD parliamentary group, environmental policy spokeswoman and member of the parliamentary group's executive committee.

Public offices

From 2001 to 2003 she was the commissioner for children and young people of the Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein.
