The Landtag constituency of Ostholstein-Süd (2012: constituency 19, 2017: constituency 18) is a Landtag constituency in Schleswig-Holstein that has existed under this name since the 2012 state elections . It includes the town of Bad Schwartau and the communities of Ahrensbök , Ratekau , Scharbeutz , Stockelsdorf and Timmendorfer Strand from the Ostholstein district .

Changes and renaming

Until the state elections in 2009, the constituency was called the state electoral district Eutin-Süd and number 22. It comprised the town of Bad Schwartau and the communities of Ratekau , Scharbeutz , Stockelsdorf and Timmendorfer Strand from the Ostholstein district .

For the state election in 2012 he received parts of the independent city of Lübeck , which were described as follows: “Starting from the northern city limits to the municipality of Ratekau (north of the Danish castle) in a south-easterly direction to the railway overpass over the A 226 motorway, following the course of the railway in an easterly direction to the south of the Waldhusener Moorsee, from there to the confluence of the Olendiek road with the Kieselgrund, including the entire Kieselgrund and An der Kehre road to the Waldhusener Weg / B 75 crossing, from there following the Waldhusener Weg in a north-westerly direction to the railway, this one following in an easterly direction to the Kücknitzer Mühlenbach, following this in a north-easterly direction to the B75, from there in an easterly direction to the West Prussia ring, including the entire course of the West Prussia ring to the corner of Pommernring / Buurdiekstraße, the course of Buurdiekstraße to Dummersdorfer Straße, this one in an easterly direction end along the Hirtenbergweg (including the Schmiederedders) to the banks of the Trave in the Dummersdorfer Ufer nature reserve. ”In the course of these changes in the area, the constituency was given its current name.

For the 2017 state election, the Lübeck areas were again separated from the constituency and a third constituency was set up again in the Hanseatic city. Instead, the community of Ahrensbök from the previous Plön-Süd / Eutin was added.

particularities

In 2012, the Lübeck district of Kücknitz was divided into two state electoral districts, the state electoral district Lübeck-Ost (32) and the state electoral district Ostholstein-Süd (19).
