The constituency is represented in the state parliament by the directly elected constituency member Wolfgang Baasch (SPD), who has been a member of parliament for various Lübeck constituencies since 1996. The CDU candidate Anette Röttger initially missed entry into the state parliament because the state list of her party did not move due to the high number of constituency members. However, on September 20, 2017, she replaced the late MP Axel Bernstein in parliament.
State election 2012
The area of the previous constituency was divided between the Lübeck-West and Lübeck-East constituencies.
