The state constituency Steinburg-Ost (constituency 20, 2012: constituency 21, until 2009: constituency 24) is a state electoral district in Schleswig-Holstein . It includes the town of Itzehoe and the offices of Breitenburg , Kellinghusen and Krempermarsch from the Steinburg district .
Changes
Until 2017, the constituency comprised the city of Itzehoe from the Steinburg district , the offices of Breitenburg and Kellinghusen, and the municipalities of Lohbarbek , Silzen , Schlotfeld and Winseldorf from the Itzehoe-Land office . For the 2017 state elections, Lohbarbek, Silzen, Schlotfeld and Winseldorf went to the Steinburg-West state electoral district , which now includes the entire Itzehoe-Land office. In return, the office of Krempermarsch from the Steinburg-West state electoral district was added.
In addition to the directly elected constituency member Heiner Rickers (CDU), who has represented the mandate in the state parliament since 2009, the SPD candidate Birgit Herdejürgen was elected to parliament via her party's state list.
