The state constituency Dithmarschen-Süd (constituency 07) is a state electoral district in Schleswig-Holstein . Until 2012 it comprised the city of Brunsbüttel and the offices of Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn , Marne-North Sea and Mitteldithmarschen , which roughly corresponds to the old district of Süderdithmarschen . In 2017, the Büsum-Wesselburen office from the Dithmarschen-Nord state electoral district was added.

The numbering changed from 09 to 08 in 2012 and to 07 in 2017.

In addition to the constituency member Volker Nielsen (CDU), who succeeded his party friend Jens Magnussen , who had been in office since 2005 , the FDP direct candidate Oliver Kumartzky was elected to the state parliament via his party's state list. The leader of the pirate group, Patrick Breyer, who was also the top candidate of his party in the state elections, resigned from parliament because the pirate party failed to pass the 5% hurdle .
