Anette Röttger (born March 13, 1964 in Kellinghusen ) is a German CDU politician and has been a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein since 2017 .

Life and work

Anette Röttger graduated from the Auguste Viktoria School (Itzehoe) in 1983 . From 1983 to 1988 she studied ecotrophology at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel with a degree in ecotrophology . From 1988 to 1993 she taught and consulted at the Chamber of Agriculture in Schleswig-Holstein and from 1990 to 1992 completed her legal clerkship at the Ministry of Agriculture, which she completed with a second state examination for higher agricultural education and administration. Annette Röttger has lived and worked in the family's farm in the Lübeck district of Beidendorf since 1993 .

She is married and has three grown sons.

Volunteering

Anette Röttger has been on the board of the rural women’s association for Lübeck and the surrounding area since 1995 and was its chairwoman from 2005 to 2007. Since 2012 she has been the district chairwoman of the Lübeck CDU and a member of the CDU state board.

Mandates

Between 2008 and 2018 she was a member of the Lübeck citizenship and acts as school policy spokeswoman for the CDU citizenship parliamentary group. She did not run for the 2018 local elections.

In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017 , she ran in constituency 33 Lübeck-Süd and, as a direct candidate, lost 30.3% to the SPD candidate Wolfgang Baasch (36.4%). On September 20, 2017, however, she moved up for the late MP Axel Bernstein on the state list. Röttger is the cultural and consumer protection policy spokeswoman for the CDU parliamentary group.
