Sandra Willmeroth

Sandra Willmeroth (* 1970 in Waldbröl ) is a German journalist and book author.

Life

Willmeroth studied on the second chance politics , economics and business history at the University of Duisburg , Portsmouth ( GB ) and Marburg . She graduated in 1998 as a political scientist with Wilfried von Bredow in Marburg.

In 1999 she was one of the first five volunteers at the Bonner journalists Academy of Ferdinand Simoneit . When he resigned from the management of the academy after six months, Willmeroth also left the academy and moved to Switzerland. There she became a business editor for the Tages-Anzeiger in 2000 . In 2003 she took over the management of the new business magazine for the woman annabelle business as department head and journalist . This was stopped by the new management of the Tamedia publishing house after a year. In 2004 she wrote the book The 800 Million Jackpot: Alexander Falk and the Distefora Case , which was published by Orell Füssli Verlag in January 2005 . In 2005/06, Willmeroth was a member of the management team and headed the business press division at Swisscontent Corp , a Zurich agency for business press , corporate publishing and PR, before moving to the Handelszeitung as head of finance . In 2009 her book Exgüsi: A Knigge for Germans and Swiss to Avoid Gross Misunderstandings was published by Orell-Füssli-Verlag , which uses humor to deal with the tense relationship between Germans and Swiss in Switzerland and led to TV appearances and interviews.

Since 2009 Willmeroth has been working as a freelance journalist and author and part-time as editor-in-chief of the SME customer magazine of AXA Winterthur . She lives in Switzerland.
