Santa Maria da Devesa is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district ( concelho ) of Castelo de Vide . 1578 inhabitants live in it on an area of ​​56 km² (as of June 30, 2011).

It is the most important municipality of the small town ( Vila ) Castelo de Vide and covers large parts of the urban area and parts of the surrounding area.
