Sara Lindén (born September 1, 1983 ) is a Swedish soccer player . The striker made her debut for the Swedish national team in 2008 .

Career

Lindén started playing football at Dalsjöfors GOIF . In 2005 she joined Kopparbergs / Göteborg FC in Damallsvenskan . At the side of players like Johanna Almgren , Lisa Ek and Lotta Schelin , she established herself in the attack of the club in the following years and reached places in the front midfield with the team. In the 2007 season she finally achieved her breakthrough when she was on the field in all 22 games of the season and contributed to reaching fourth place in the table with nine goals this season.
