action

Durango is a gunslinger who makes a living collecting money. In Tucson businessman Ferguson cheated the Mexican El Tuerto of his share after a successful raid he had arranged; Durango takes this back from him, but is thrown in prison for alleged rape and murder. El Tuerto helps him escape.

Then the two join the gang from Arellana to take on Ferguson's gold haulage to the east. In order not to have to pay his angry creditors, Ferguson staged his death and his funeral. Durango has meanwhile eliminated Arellana, who would have preferred to keep the gold for himself, can first kill Ferguson's people and finally, after figuring out his trick, Ferguson himself. Finally, he brings the money back to the citizens of Tucson.

criticism

Paul Vecchiali writes in season 73 : “Montero does not try to make great cinema, but is content to show it with a certain sense of humor and with surprising twists. The film can be seen without boredom; it has almost the quality and charm of an American B-Western. "

Remarks

In Italy the film grossed 70 million lire .
