Roberto Messina

Roberto Messina (born January 2, 1934 in Casablanca , Morocco ) is an Italian stuntman and actor .

Life

Messina, like his brother Emilio (1936–2007), has been active as a stunt man and small (st) actor in Italian genre films since the 1960s - first in sandal films , then in spaghetti westerns , later in crime films , where they shot action-oriented scenes in countless films and sometimes appeared in smaller speaking roles. Messina, who was also referred to as Bob Messenger and Red Buchanan , had known as “Mr. Tozzi ”in the first four films about“ Superbulle Nico Giraldi ”alongside Tomás Milián a recurring and probably his best-known role. He has also worked as an armorer and assistant director on several films. In the 1980s, his appearances became significantly less frequent, until he last appeared in front of the camera in 1992 in Out of Control .

Messina lives in Venice , Florida .
