Saroschany ( Ukrainian Зарожани ; Russian Зарожаны , Romanian Zarojani, Zarojeni ) is a Bessarabian village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi with about 3200 inhabitants (2004).
Saroschany is the only village in the district council of the same name in the Khotyn district .
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1672, lies between the villages of Klischkiwzi in the west and Schyriwzi ( Ширівці ) in the east. The district center of Khotyn is located 22 km to the northeast and the oblast capital of Chernivtsi is about 40 km southwest of Saroschany. Territorial road T – 26–03 runs through the village in an east-west direction .
