Sassitino ( Russian Заситино , scientific transliteration Zasitino ) is a village in the Russian district of Sebesch , Pskov Oblast on the border with Latvia .

The village belongs to the municipality (gorodskoje posselenije) Sosnovy Bor . The center of the Rajon, the small town of Sebesch is 16 km as the crow flies in an east -southeast direction , the administrative seat of the municipality, the urban-type settlement Sosnovy Bor is about 13 km in a south-southeast direction.

The village has only a few inhabitants. Not far from the village are the border crossing of the railway line and the European route 22 , which is represented in Russia by the M9 and in Latvia as the A12 . Both routes connect the capitals Moscow and Riga of the border states.
