The Saulius-Sondeckis-Gymnasium der Künste Šiauliai ( lit.Siaulių Sauliaus Sondeckio menų gimnazija ) is a high school and an art school in Šiauliai ( Lithuania ), a former Soviet-Lithuanian high school for music. Here you can learn accordion , choir conducting, singing, piano , guitar , wind instruments, drums, string instruments, folk instruments, organ, choreography , theater arts, art .
history
The school was founded by the composer Juozas Karosas in 1939 when the music school in Klaipėda was closed after the German occupation. In 1959 it became the Šiauliai Music Technical School and in 1969 the Šiauliai Higher Music School. In 1993 she became the Šiaulių konservatorija . In 2010 the name of Saulius Sondeckis was given to the Conservatory . In 2011 it became the Saulius Sondeckis School of Arts Šiauliai and in 2013 the Saulius Sondeckis High School of Arts Šiauliai.
