The Schönaualm is an alpine pasture in the Niederaudorf district of the Oberaudorf municipality .

The Almhütte and the Baywahütte on the Schönaualm are under monument protection and are entered in the Bavarian Monument List under the numbers D-1-87-157-96 and D-1-87-157-98 .

Building description

The so-called Christophalm is a solid building with a gable roof and arched openings and was built around 1750.

The Baywahütte is a solid construction with a crooked roof and shingled gable and was also built around 1750.

Todays use

The Schönaualm is a community hut and is used for agriculture.

The Schönaualm is located in the Mangfall Mountains north of the Großer Traithen in the Sudelfeld ski area at an altitude of 1240  m above sea level. NN .
