action

Walter Petersen, a hotel owner from Hamburg, is spending a holiday in the Algarve with his wife and 19-year-old daughter Karin. He doesn't like the fact that his daughter takes a lot of pleasure in Antonio, who works in the hotel. However, when it turns out that Antonio is the son and heir to the local hotel owner, his mind changes.

The newly divorced Irene Mertens has arrived with her little daughter Julia. She has not yet processed the divorce and it suits her very well that the single Veronika Bauer likes to look after Julia, while she visits the cultural highlights of the area in the company of the schoolmaster's young Gunter Wilgram. There is a rude awakening when Veronika and Julia are surprised by a storm during a trip in a pedal boat.

Friedrich Sperber spends his time precisely documenting all the alleged inadequacies of his vacation trip, although he does not always stick to the truth. Its aim is to obtain recourse payments from the travel company. Unfortunately, he confides in the friendly Mr. Kübler, who is an undercover inspector of the tour operator.
