Schöneberg is a district of the Upper Swabian market Pfaffenhausen .

The village of Schöneberg is about two kilometers north of Pfaffenhausen and is connected to the main town via the B 16 . The Pfaffenhauser Moos nature reserve is located between Pfaffenhausen and Schöneberg . The Mindel flows east of the village .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1120 as Schönenberck . The Ministerialin Mechthild von Aindling, wife of the episcopal servant Ulrich von Hausen, donated a sermon in Scoenenberch for the salvation of her son in the second quarter of the 12th century . In the late Middle Ages, a hoof was considered the official court of the Benedictine convent Augsburg . During the manorial court, the court had to accommodate and feed the abbot with his entourage of 13 horses. The Amtshof district of Schöneberg comprised 23 places in 1391. Once owned by the dominion Mindelheim village, which was independent long, was posted on May 1, 1978 as part of the administrative reform in the market Pfaffenhausen incorporated . In 1919 Schöneberg was connected to the power grid and in 1929 to the water supply.
