Schönecker Waldgemeinde is a historical collective term for several small settlements in the forest around the town of Schöneck / Vogtl. in the Saxon Vogtland district.

history

With the development and settlement of the forests to the east and south-east of the Vogtland town of Schöneck from the 16th century onwards, several small forest settlements emerged in the Voigtsberg district of Saxony , known as "Schönecker Waldorte" or "Schönecker Waldgemeinde". In 1834 the Schönecker Waldgemeinde had seven places with a total of 198 inhabitants. In 1875 the rural community consisted of the districts Mulde / Muldenhäuser, Muldenberg, Saubachhäuser and Tannenhaus.
