The Schönleitenschrofen is a rocky peak in the Ammergau Alps . It reaches 1706 m , according to other sources 1703 m .
summit
The summit is easy to reach from the west via a steep, rugged ridge. In wet weather conditions, caution is required in the summit area. The view extends far over the Allgäu. To the north and south the mountain falls in steep rock faces.
