Schechstetten is a district of the municipality Weidenstetten in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is about two kilometers west of Weidenstetten and can be reached via the 1232 road.
history
The place is first mentioned in 1382. He shared the fate of Weidenstetten, d. H. he belonged to the Albeck lordship and later formed with Weidenstetten an office of the Ulm upper lordship, to which the Neenstetten office in 1608 and the Altheim and Ballendorf offices in 1774 were attached.
In 1803 the place came to Bavaria and in 1810 by the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg to Württemberg , where it was subordinated to the Oberamt Ulm .
