Scherdja ( Ukrainian and Russian Жердя ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnyzkyj with about 1600 inhabitants (2004).

The village, mentioned for the first time in 1578, is the only village in the district council of the same name in the south of the Chemerivtsi Rajon .

Scherdja is located on the regional road P-48 26 km south of the district center of Chemerivtsi and about 105 km southwest of the Oblast capital Khmelnytskyi .
