Schewtschenkowe ( Ukrainian Шевченкове ; Russian Шевченково Schewtschenkowo , Romanian Caramahmet ) is a village in Budschak in the southwest of the Ukrainian Odessa with about 5600 inhabitants (2004).

The village, founded in 1791 and known under the name Caramahmet (ukr. Карамахмет ) until 1946, is the administrative center of the 99.07 km² district council of the same name in Kilija district , to which the village of Pomasany (ukr. Помазани ) with around 70 inhabitants also belongs .

The village is located on the territorial road T-16-30 between Lake Sassyk in the east and Lake Kytaj (ukr. Китай (озеро) ) in the west. The district center Kilija is 14 km southwest and the Oblast center Odessa is about 180 km northeast of the village.
